Ceramic nozzles

• Black – large grains, within 300 microns.
• Two black marks – very large grains, in the of 500 microns.

Rare are diamond nozzles with white or 3 black marks, the so-called grinder cutters, which simultaneously serve as a polishing tool. Scarce. Designed to remove heavily keratinized areas of the skin and thick layers of the gel.

A successful outcome when cutting gel polish depends on abrasiveness. Diamond cutters with green or red notches made in Germany are in great demand. It is believed that they are of the highest quality in execution. But there is an analogue made in USA.

Metal nozzles

Metal milling cutters, unlike the same diamond, have a lower price, although they are used for the same purpose. Usually made from alloys of carbide and tungsten – medical steel. Among the features of steel milling cutters, one can note drawings (notches) on the working surface. They are straight, oblique or spiral.

Such nozzles are well suited for removing keratinized skin, and not with dust, as usual, but with chips. It is noteworthy that among the models of steel mills there is a version made in the “corn” form, which serves to remove the old gel polish.

Silicone tips

Silicone nozzles belong to the group of polishing nozzles, suitable both for processing artificial and for working with natural nails. Shining the nail plate can be achieved precisely by using these tips.

They have units for abrasiveness, which is determined by touch: from almost smooth to rough options for grinding. They are made of silicone with interspersed particles of abrasive.

Toolbox Processing

After each use, tools and nozzles should be cleaned. The cutters are washed with water, along with them particles of the skin are removed with a brass brush.

The second is the number of revolutions. Models with indicators up to 20000 rpm. Suitable for home use. If the number of customers is more than 5 people a day, you should choose a machine that runs at 35000 rpm. and more. In cases with professional manicure, the machine should have a speed of 45000 rpm.

The next criterion will be the milling cutters included in the package. It is very good if the device is equipped with a starting list of the main nozzles.

In the best case, it is necessary that among them be:

• For processing rollers and cuticles.
• Nozzles for grinding work.
• Nozzles for polishing the nail plate.
• Nozzles for work with keratinized skin.

Also, the devices differ in the method of clamping the nozzle. There are 3 types in total:

• manual;
• semi-automatic;
• auto.

In inexpensive models for home activities, a manual clamp is used to fix the working part of the tool when tightening the washer. And the most expensive devices come with an automatic clamping system that fixes the nozzle immediately after installation.

Working tools for performing hardware manicure are endowed with a collector or brushless motor. The difference is that the collector motor is designed to operate for several hundred hours, and the brushless motor for several thousand.

A machine with a brushless motor will cost more, but it will be quieter than an analogue with a collector motor, and will be distinguished by its quality and durability. Devices with a collector motor, despite their shortcomings, will quite cope with home manicure.

The last selection criterion is associated with the fine dust released during the operation of the machine. To reduce its number, you can choose a model of the device with a vacuum cleaner built into the countertop, equipped with a sliding tray for quick cleaning of the filter from accumulated saw cut. If the vacuum cleaner is not provided at all, you can purchase it separately complete with a stand, dust collector and filter.
