No Ordinary Child

The following is an e-mail I received recommending a book. I’ve heard of this book before, and while I have not yet read it, I would read ANYTHING that Kim recommends. The reviews on Amazon are very highly favorable. Check it out!

Hey everyone,

Just want to send this out as a book recommendation. I am reading one of the most challenging books that I’ve ever read. It is called “No Ordinary Child.” WARNING: This book is not for the faint of heart or anyone who is not willing to do what it takes to help your children rise above the mediocrity of the world to be extraordinary warriors for Christ. It has totally challenged me in a new way. Sometimes I find that I sink into complacency and this book has really jolted me out of it. It was recommended to Diana by our wonderful sister in Christ, Kim D.

Honestly I’ve hardly been able to put the book down. Now you can all pray for me that I won’t be like the “man in the mirror – who looks and then forgets what he sees.” Pray that I will sacrificially, humbly put into practice all that God is stirring in my soul to do.

In His Love,

Pam
