Trouble in Amish Paradise Documentary

My friend, Jeannette, sent me the following link to a GREAT video done by the BBC called “Trouble in Amish Paradise”. The funny thing is…what is really happening in the documentary is that two Amish families have found salvation through Jesus Christ! (The BBC doesn’t “get that” part though…) They are excommunicated because of their faith in Christ…and the documentary takes you through their dilemmas. The boys and I watched it this morning and noticed the glaring similarities to Luther’s confrontation with the Catholic church. The cycles in history just repeat themselves over and over.

It is almost an hour long…but well worth the investment of time. And if you have children…they should watch it with you. Here is the link: http://www.abc.net.au/compass/s2606271.htm
