She is the author of this Tuesday’s Treasure for the Taking!
Introducing….
Kim Doebler!
Kim has been one of my soul sisters for over 20 years. We used to be members of the same church, but a few years ago Kim and her husband, Todd, moved their wonderful family to a piece of God’s Country in Wisconsin. They enjoy entertaining guests year round and are one of the most hospitable, generous, loving families I have ever had the privilege of knowing. It was a great loss to me to have her so far away, but our hearts will be knit together for all of eternity because of Christ’s mercy and grace…and I’m SO GLAD for that!
Kim has had an incredible life journey that I hope she will share in bits and pieces on this blog in the future. I know you would all be inspired to hear all that God has done in her life! One of her most recent adventures has been to write and publish a book on parenting called, ESP Character Training: Explain, Show, Practice. If you could meet her four children, you would quickly see that she has done everything she teaches in her book…and the fruit of her efforts shows in her outgoing, happy, helpful, sweet, hard-working children. Her book is full of very practical ideas to help mothers train their children in nine areas of character growth. (You might even find yourself growing in a character quality or two!)
I’m also pleased to announce that Kim will be one of the contributing authors on this blog as we expand our horizons and bring in other gifted writers to focus on various visionary topics. You can find out more about who is writing on this blog by visiting our Contributing Writers page which we will be updating as we add new contributors. Kim will be writing mostly on the area of child training/parenting, and I know you will get many nuggets of wisdom from her as she shares truth from the Word of God and how it can impact our lives in practical ways as we parent our children.
This week Kim will be sharing a series with you on training your children in four key areas. I hope you enjoy it! But for today, I encourage you to welcome her to our little community here by entering the giveaway for a FREE copy of her book, ESP Character Training: Explain, Show, Practice.

Hello Kim!
It seems like only yesterday when you and I were at a gathering at Natalie’s house together, but really…I think it was more like 6 or 7 years! I am excited to read what you write here on Natalie’s blog, and I am glad that our paths can cross again electronically!
Blessings to you and your sweet family,
Erica
Hi Erica
I have attempted now for the third time to reply to you, hopefully this will take. I too remember Natalie”s gathering, I believe you brought a super yummy chocolate dessert that causes my mouth to water when I think of it. Perhaps our paths can really cross, as I am trying to attend the June meeting at Natalies.
In Him, Kim
Welcome Kim! I’ll be looking forward to reading future blog posts from you. And I’d LOVE to read your book! Maybe Natalie’s computer generated drawing will give me the privilege!
God’s best to both of you,
Jean

Liz-
Thank you for the welcome. You are wise to limit your computer time. Todays technology allows us to have contact with these words of encouragement, while spending only short tidbits of time. Glad you have found Visionary Womanhood.

Kim–
I have much respect for Natalie, so to read her glowing words about you and your family says a great deal to me. I am excited to read your guest posts and learn from a wise mother and daughter of the King like you. Your book sounds fantastic, too.

Hello Lori-
As you, I also have great respect for Natalie and feel humbled and honored to be a part of this wonderful circle of women. Thank you for welcoming me into your life via this blog.

Hi Kim!
I just found this site and I.cansee that I am going to love it here.
As a mom of 9, it has become easy to get so busy with duties that I sometimes forget that I have not done certain types of training with the younger ones like I had with the older ones. I have been neglecting the practicing and this has been a good reminder for me. The time seems long when you are in the middle, but very short once you come out on the other side!
Hi Kim
So glad you found this site encouraging. Isn’t it amazing how God leads us to what we need, right when we need it? Having nine children you already understand how quickly the time passes–may you find strength from our Saviour to finish strong with your younger ones too.
Bless you, Kim
