Almost five years ago I started a little business in my home, Apple Valley Natural Soap. I learned how to make shampoo bars, and after one year of hard work I started actually turning a small profit. Five years later we have a thriving business that provides income for our family, several older children, and another family.
Our Kitchen Sink bars are rock hard and long lasting. They smell awesome. They look cool, too. Perfect by any sink – even for KIDS!
I have rarely mentioned this business on this blog, mainly because I’ve wanted this blog to be ad-free. And I still do. But now that I’m on my own here, I feel like I should share this other part of my world with you periodically because it does play such a big role in my life.
