Bi-Weekly Links and a Visionary Dominion Link Up!

Three Good Reads

Controversy exists because God’s truth exists in a world of lies. Controversy is the plight of sinners in a fallen world, who were originally created by God to know the truth, love the truth, and proclaim the truth. We cannot escape controversy this side of heaven, nor should we seek to. As Christians, God has rescued us out of darkness and has made us able to stand in His marvelous light. He has called us to go into the darkness and shine as a light to the world, reflecting the glorious light of our Lord, Jesus Christ. And when light shines in darkness, controversy is inevitable.

So much of the daily grind of a mother goes unnoticed.  Children, especially when they are younger are very ungrateful and overlook so much of what mothers do and this can be a great discouragement for mothers.  This discouragement grows as mothers find themselves burdened for the souls of their children and see very little spiritual fruit from their efforts.

Husbands are fragile people.  We have sensitive egos. We may come across as strong and indifferent, but that’s just presentation.

We’re actually quite needy.

I wonder if wives know this. Do you know this? I wonder if wives are aware how much their husbands need them. Read on. I’m going to break the code of men and reveal the secret handshake. God did say He was going to make a woman for the man because it was not good for the man to be alone (Genesis 2:18).

And now it’s your turn to share a link!

Join our link up with a post on how you are exercising dominion in YOUR sphere of influence!  I realize our link ups so far haven’t been wildly popular.  But in every cloud there’s a silver lining.  The silver lining here is that BECAUSE there aren’t 786 linkys …but only 2-5 (yes…it’s sort of pathetic…but I refuse to quit yet)…YOUR LINKY GETS MORE REAL ESTATE, AND YOU’RE NOT COMPETING WITH SO MANY OTHER BLOGS FOR ATTENTION!

Seriously consider that.  I mean, when I go to some of these other blogs and see a link up with a bazillion teensy tiny pictures of bloggy linkys, I’m overwhelmed and want to run.  I certainly don’t start wading through 12 feet of linkys to find an awesome post.

No worries here!  Just imagine!  You could be the ONLY linky here…and wouldn’t that be grand?  Everyone would see your post link and assume it’s awesome…being the only one…and hop on over to pay you a visit.

Is that cool, or what?  So, for Pete’s sake…take advantage of the attention and LINK UP!

(If you are reading this in an email and want to participate in the link up, you’ll need to click through to the blog.)
