A Hopeful Vision

“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come.” Proverbs 31: 25

Ever wonder how to laugh at the future when it likely holds its share of suffering?  I hope you’ll join me over at The Focused Homemaker today where I share a few thoughts on this subject.

A Few “Gems in the Web” on Suffering Too:

  • You may benefit from this list of resources on the subject of grief and dying – as well as this list of resources on the subject of forgiveness.
  • Do you ever feel like God has pulled the rug out?
  • When stuff hits the fan, anchor yourself to the Immovable Rock.
  • “Most Christians claim to believe in the sovereignty of God, but many define His sovereignty in a way that ultimately exalts man over God. Scripture continually magnifies the sovereignty of God, but what does this mean? In this lecture, Dr. R.C. Sproul Jr. explains what it means to say that God is sovereign and examines the implications of this confession for our lives and ministries.”

  1. This was a thought provoking post. I have been meditating on Scripture about the sovereignty of God. I wanted to listen to the message you linked to, however there are 19 different ones. I am sure they would all be profitable, but what one in particular were you meaning?
